Meet the Team

Brian DeRoberts joined Kristopher Homes in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. He began his career in new construction in 2003, working as a subcontractor for national builders before advancing into leadership roles in construction and purchasing. Along the way, he served as a cabinet field supervisor for Timberlake Cabinets, managed the construction of 96 homes in a single year, and later transitioned into purchasing management.

Brian believes the relationships he has built throughout the industry have been one of the greatest keys to his success. After more than two decades in homebuilding, he values trust, friendship, and supporting others both professionally and personally.

One of Brian’s favorite parts of the homebuilding process is closing day — walking homeowners through their finished home and seeing the excitement on their faces as they begin a new chapter. He also appreciates the close-knit culture at Kristopher Homes, where the team feels more like family than coworkers.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys golfing, backpacking, spending time with family, and exploring places like Table Rock State Park. His favorite local restaurant is Coral, and his music playlist often includes Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers.

Erika DeRoberts began her career in real estate in 2005, selling entry-level townhomes for a national builder on Butler Road. Early on, she discovered a passion for helping people realize the opportunities that homeownership can create — often educating renters on the long-term financial benefits, stability, and generational impact that owning a home can provide. That passion for serving others and advocating for homeowners continues to guide her work today.

Over the years, Erika went on to serve as both a Broker-in-Charge and Senior Vice President for two major brokerages in the Upstate. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to protecting the interests of home buyers and sellers while supporting the integrity of the real estate profession. She strongly believes in the role real estate professionals play in advocating for the public and helping families build lasting foundations through homeownership.

Having raised her three daughters in the Upstate, Erika has a deep appreciation for the community she calls home. From the award-winning walkable downtowns of Greenville to the charm of her hometown of Fountain Inn, she values the area’s sense of community, natural beauty, and quality of life.

Erika’s creativity extends beyond real estate. As an artist and creative entrepreneur, she enjoys transforming blank canvases — whether that means raw land ready for a future home or an actual canvas with paint — into something meaningful and beautiful. Her love for the outdoors, hiking, and backpacking also inspires her work with Kristopher Homes, helping identify scenic homesites that embrace the beauty of the Upstate landscape.

When she’s not working, Erika enjoys exploring the mountains and spending time outdoors. Her favorite local restaurant is Pita House, a longtime Upstate favorite she loves to recommend.

Eric Baldwin joined Kristopher Homes in 2022 and serves as the company’s Purchasing Director. As a lifelong member of the Upstate community, Eric brings both local knowledge and a deep appreciation for the area’s growth and development to the Kristopher Homes team.

What Eric believes truly sets Kristopher Homes apart is the company’s connection to the community it serves. Having grown up in the Greater Greenville area, the team has seen firsthand how the Upstate has evolved over the years — and they are passionate about helping shape its future in a thoughtful and meaningful way. That local perspective influences the decisions made every day and reflects the pride the team takes in building homes throughout the community they call home.

Eric especially values the family-oriented culture at Kristopher Homes. He appreciates that the company feels close-knit and personal, with relationships that extend beyond the workplace. For Eric, it’s meaningful that his children know and enjoy spending time around his coworkers — something he believes makes the team truly special.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, whether that means taking his kids to the park or catching a game with the Greenville Drive. When it comes to local favorites, he’s quick to recommend Anchorage — his go-to restaurant in the Upstate.

Meridian joined Kristopher Homes in 2021 and plays a key role in the company’s operations, financing, reporting, and marketing efforts. With a talent for balancing strategy and detail, she brings clarity to the complex moving parts of the business so decisions can keep moving forward.

Before joining Kristopher Homes, Meridian spent eight years in Washington, D.C. A career highlight during her time there was being part of a small team that helped launch and build a new department within a large organization. Shaping something from the ground up alongside talented colleagues was energizing and fulfilling, and reinforced her belief in the power of collaboration, thoughtful processes, and strong team structures.

She is grateful to be in a similar environment at Kristopher Homes with a team that genuinely cares about one another and takes pride in delivering quality work. She especially enjoys the problem-solving and strategic thinking her role requires as the company continues to grow.

Having grown up in South Carolina, Meridian always felt a pull to return home. She was glad to come back to a place rich with family, friendships, and community. She believes that home — both the house itself and the community around it — can create a foundation that allows people to thrive, which makes it especially meaningful to contribute to Kristopher Homes’ work creating that reality for families in the Upstate.

Outside of work, Meridian enjoys playing guitar, wandering antique shops, gardening, and paddleboarding.

Norell Mitchell Grissett brings a passion for people, service, and homeownership to every client interaction. With a heart for helping families find a place to call home, she is dedicated to making the home-buying journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

As a member of the Kristopher Homes team, Norell values the opportunity to connect buyers with thoughtfully designed homes on spacious homesites throughout the Upstate. She believes that homeownership is one of life’s most meaningful investments and takes pride in guiding her clients with honesty, professionalism, and care.

What Norell appreciates most about Kristopher Homes is the company’s commitment to providing quality new construction on generous homesites without HOA restrictions—an increasingly rare opportunity in today’s market.

When she’s not assisting clients, Norell enjoys reading, gardening, glamping, and tackling creative DIY projects. She finds joy in creating welcoming spaces and making memories with family and friends.

Her favorite place in the Upstate is simple: home. It’s where she can spend time with the people she loves most.

Norell lives by a piece of advice that has guided her throughout her career: “Your reputation may get you in the room, but your integrity allows you to remain seated at the table.” This commitment to integrity and service is at the heart of everything she does.

Kent Prain joined the Kristopher Homes team in 2026 and brings a genuine passion for helping families achieve the dream of homeownership. As a Sales and Marketing Representative, Kent loves guiding buyers through every step of the process and helping them find a home that truly fits their lifestyle and vision.

What Kent believes sets Kristopher Homes apart is the opportunity for buyers to enjoy larger homesites without the restrictions of an HOA — giving homeowners the freedom to personalize and enjoy their property in a way that works best for them and their families.

For Kent, one of the most rewarding moments in the homebuilding journey is seeing homeowners receive the keys to their new home for the very first time. He believes there is nothing quite like the pride, accomplishment, and excitement that comes with owning a home.

Kent also values the strong camaraderie within the Kristopher Homes team, where collaboration and shared goals create not only beautiful homes, but a fun and supportive environment for both employees and customers alike.

Outside of work, Kent is a longtime fan of the Atlanta Braves and has followed the team ever since Sid Bream’s iconic slide into home plate in 1992. The best advice he’s ever received? “Be kind. Love hard. Truly care about people.” — values he carries into both his personal life and his work with homeowners every day.

Gary Block joined Kristopher Homes in April 2025, bringing decades of hands-on construction experience and craftsmanship to the team. Originally from Riverhead on Long Island, New York, Gary grew up in a hardworking family rooted in farming and hospitality — values that helped shape his strong work ethic and attention to detail throughout his career.

With experience spanning nearly every phase of residential construction, Gary has built an impressive background in the industry. Over the years, he worked extensively throughout the Hamptons market on Eastern Long Island, mastering everything from framing, roofing, windows, and siding to cabinetry, flooring, intricate trim work, coffered ceilings, and exterior deck construction. His broad knowledge and dedication to quality craftsmanship have made him a valuable asset throughout every stage of the homebuilding process.

One of Gary’s most memorable projects was serving as Project Superintendent during the transformation of a former convent into the Bayport/Bluepoint Library in New York. The project provided him with valuable commercial construction experience and remains a highlight of his career.

Before joining Kristopher Homes, Gary spent several years living in Charleston before relocating to Greenville. He believes homeowners are consistently drawn to Kristopher Homes because of the quality of construction, larger homesites, and the freedom that comes with communities without HOA restrictions.

Outside of work, Gary has a passion for adventure and lifelong learning. He has traveled to 45 states and numerous countries abroad, is an avid snow skier, and even trekked to Mount Everest. A dedicated reader and outdoorsman, Gary brings curiosity, experience, and craftsmanship into everything he does — both professionally and personally.

Nathan Coyle joined Kristopher Homes in the summer of 2025 and brings a problem-solving mindset and adventurous spirit to his role as Project Manager. What Nathan enjoys most about homebuilding is that no two days are ever the same. From coordinating projects to overcoming challenges in the field, he thrives in an industry that constantly evolves and keeps him thinking creatively.

Nathan believes one of the things that makes Kristopher Homes stand out is its commitment to building quality homes with a personal touch. Unlike larger corporate builders, Kristopher Homes focuses on creating homes and communities the team can genuinely take pride in standing behind.

A strong believer in personal growth, Nathan lives by the advice: “When you stop growing, you stop living.” He approaches both his work and life with a mindset of continuous improvement and learning from every experience.

Outside of work, Nathan’s adventurous side has led him on some unforgettable experiences — including spending two and a half years backpacking across America with nothing but his guitar, his dog, and his curiosity leading the way. That same sense of independence, resilience, and curiosity continues to shape the way he approaches both life and homebuilding today.

Josh Clark joined Kristopher Homes in 2026 as Office Manager, bringing creativity, organization, and a strong team-oriented mindset to the role. Whether supporting day-to-day operations or helping keep projects on track behind the scenes, Josh enjoys being part of a collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy working together.

What Josh appreciates most about Kristopher Homes is the team itself. He values the positive culture and camaraderie among coworkers, making each day both productive and enjoyable.

Outside of work, Josh has a wide range of creative interests and hobbies. He enjoys filmmaking, videography, gaming, watching films, and spending time building LEGO creations with his son. A dedicated LEGO enthusiast for more than 20 years, Josh has even combined his passion for filmmaking and collecting by creating video content showcasing his extensive LEGO collection.

Before his professional career, Josh spent a decade as a competitive gymnast and earned the title of South Carolina state pommel horse champion three consecutive years in a row — a fun fact that often surprises people. The best advice he’s ever received, “Your focus determines your reality,” continues to guide both his personal and professional life today.
